Part-time Engagement Coach Schedule:
Every Saturday (8:30am - 4:30pm)
Requirements:
Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Two (2) years' experience working with middle or high school-aged youth. Communication skills and a collaborative approach. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Passion for working with youth and helping them succeed in school, life, and work. We're looking for a committed Part-time Engagement Coach to guide youth in both academic and workforce development activities. In this role, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where youth can build skills, confidence, and a path to a brighter future. What You Will Be Doing:
Build advisory relationships with youth while guiding them through academic and/or workforce development programming. Support youth in making positive behavior choices using the AMIkids Way and Personal Growth Model. Supervise and ensure the safety of youth in accordance with all operational and contractual guidelines. Use a hands-on approach for one-on-one or small group tutoring and academic guidance. Lead advisory sessions and track youth progress toward educational and behavioral goals. Help youth develop personal responsibility, social and life skills, and job readiness. Collaborate with parents/guardians to support youth engagement and remove obstacles to success. Maintain accurate youth records and utilize instructional resources. Participate in field trips, special activities, and community events. Attend required training and maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention.
