Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Lead and facilitate a diverse range of youth activities, including arts and crafts, sports, outdoor games, and educational projects Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Implement first aid protocols when necessary, including CPR and AED operation, to respond promptly to minor injuries or emergencies Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed Collaborate with team members to plan daily schedules and ensure smooth program operations Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns Skills Proven experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and emergency response protocols Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is highly desirable Ability to lead youth group activities confidently and foster inclusive participation Excellent child supervision skills combined with patience and empathy Background in theater, babysitting, daycare work, or outdoor activities enhances engagement capabilities Demonstrated team leadership abilities to coordinate with staff and volunteers effectively Familiarity with childhood development principles to support age-appropriate activities Effective teaching experience with young children or youth programs that promote growth and development Join us in creating a fun-filled environment where children can thrive!
