South Bend, Indiana Who We Are Youth Service Bureau's ultimate focus is to ensure all youth have access to safety, shelter, and the opportunity to succeed. Youth Service Bureau delivers client-centered, trauma-responsive, and preventative services and support to youth experiencing safety and housing crises. YSB envisions a future where all youth have safe and stable housing, peer and community support, tools to heal, and opportunity to reach their full potential. We do this through offering an array of services including a 24/7/365 emergency shelter, Safe Station. The shelter provides safe shelter to runaway and homeless youth, and youth placed by the Department of Child Services or juvenile probation. YSB is a hands-off restraint-free facility operating 3 shifts of round-the-clock care and supervision of youth who are experiencing homelessness or crisis. Job Responsibilities - Summary

• Provide comprehensive case management, including individualized service plans, SMART goals, progress monitoring, documentation, and aftercare. Coordinate referrals and community-based services to address youth needs and support safety, stabilization, family engagement, reunification, and long-term stability. Develop discharge and aftercare plans and ensure continuity of services for at least 90 days post-discharge. Support family engagement, communication, conflict resolution, and alternative living arrangements when reunification is not appropriate. Ensure educational needs, school attendance, and school requirements are met. Assist with shelter operations, intakes, rule enforcement, documentation, and preparation for licensing and monitoring visits. Facilitate recreational and life-skills programming and connect youth with community resources. Maintain required trainings and complete other duties as assigned by the Shelter Supervisor. Qualifications & Compliance Requirements Minimum high-school diploma, some college preferred Experience working directly with you in a residential, shelter, crisis or community-based setting

Technology Skills:

Basic computer skills, Office 365.

Communication Skills:

Must possess written and verbal communication skills.
