This energetic position offers the opportunity to inspire young minds through dynamic activities, foster positive behavior, and support their developmental growth. As a key leader in our team, you will coordinate daily classroom routines, implement educational and recreational activities, and ensure every child feels valued and supported. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help cultivate a joyful atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and social-emotional development. This is a part-time contractual position. Responsibilities Lead and supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging youth activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, educational projects, and group discussions. Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies aligned with developmental best practices. Collaborate with team members to develop age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development and social skills. Maintain accurate attendance records, activity logs, and incident reports as needed. Implement first aid protocols promptly in case of minor injuries or emergencies; operate AED equipment when necessary. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, or concerns. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare centers, camps, youth programs, or similar environments. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid; AED operation certification preferred. High School Diploma 90 Clock hours in Early and School Age Education
