Youth Activities Counselor Join the team at Bethesda Country Club! Bethesda Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Youth Activities Counselor to help create exceptional experiences for our members and their families. In this role, you'll provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents enjoy the Club's amenities. If you enjoy working with children, planning activities, and being part of a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for children of all ages. Plan and lead a variety of age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, and special events. Support youth programming related to Golf, Tennis, Fitness, and other Club activities. Assist with organizing and coordinating the Tiger Cub Program. Help plan, set up, and execute children's events and family programming. Perform opening and closing procedures for the Kids Room. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked activity space. Collect, organize, and manage lost and found items. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed while providing outstanding member service. What We're Looking For A genuine passion for working with children in a fun, active environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting. Comfortable using computer systems to accurately enter and access information. Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work weekends and during Club events.
