Duties Assist children with homework and ensure children understands homework concepts. Homework is checked for accuracy. Supervise children and youth during scheduled activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Facilitate age-appropriate youth group activities, including games, crafts, and educational programs Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and discipline when necessary Assist with classroom management and maintain a structured environment conducive to learning and fun Respond promptly to emergencies Collaborate with team members to plan engaging indoor work experiences and camp activities Experience Prior experience working with children in educational, camp, or youth program settings preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to handle behavioral challenges effectively Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation highly desirable Background in education or childhood development is a plus Experience facilitating youth group activities enhances your candidacy Knowledge of child supervision best practices and behavior management techniques required Previous involvement in creative arts, tutoring, babysitting, counseling can provide valuable skills for engaging youth Join us as a Substitute Youth Guide and help shape the future by inspiring young minds through fun-filled learning experiences!
