In this role, you will lead a variety of youth programs, fostering a safe, inclusive, and energetic environment where children can learn new skills, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful experiences. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable moments that promote growth, teamwork, and positive behavior among young participants. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging youth activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, outdoor adventures, and educational games. Ensure the safety of all children by supervising activities closely and implementing proper child supervision techniques. Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR procedures, AED operation guidelines, and other health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to develop age-appropriate curricula that support childhood development and youth engagement goals. Communicate clearly with parents or guardians regarding program activities, progress, and any concerns related to child welfare. Lead outdoor work activities safely while promoting environmental awareness and outdoor skills. Foster a positive team environment by participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and team leadership initiatives. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational settings, camps, youth groups or childcare environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated activity management skills combined with knowledge of behavior management techniques. Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, AED operation, or related health safety training are required; ongoing training is provided if needed. Experience facilitating youth development programs or teaching youth group activities enhances your candidacy. Background in sports coaching, theater arts, tutoring or Christian counseling is advantageous for creating diverse activity offerings. Outdoor work experience or camp experience is beneficial for leading outdoor adventures confidently. Proven ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and backgrounds while maintaining a lively yet structured environment. Join us in making a positive impact on young lives!
