Job Description
TRAM's After School Program (ASP) is a youth program committed to providing academic and enrichment activities to youth. The lead teacher position is responsible for oversight, development, and implementation of the ASP programs and services in their classroom. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Facilitates a variety of recreation and enrichment activities for youth that meet their needs, interests, and abilities Provide homework assistance Plan and implement a healthy snack Provide direct supervision of students The ideal candidate must be at least 21 years of age and should hold an Associate Degree in Child Development, Human Services, or a related field. Should have the ability to effectively communicate with adults and children, organize a run a fun and exciting classroom. Must also be punctual, trustworthy, diplomatic, innovative, and understanding, with a high energy level and a passion for the mission of the program.
