Pay:
Annual Salary of $70,000 with a $5,000 Hiring Bonus Come join our team in a new and exciting role that has a focus on impact over productivity! This is an opportunity that connects youth experiencing housing instability and homelessness to mental health and wellness. This position is located at the LSS Youth Resource Center in Saint Cloud and will provide some support to young people that utilize the resource center, at risk youth and other programs as necessary. We are looking for someone who can move out of the traditional medical model and provide psycho-ed, skills and crisis support beyond traditional therapy sessions. We are committed to engaging with the youth and each other in authentic and strength-based interactions, and we have a deep commitment to ensure care for those who experience barriers. Your Impact as aYouth Outpatient Therapist:
In this role, you will provide individual and group therapy to youth (ages 16-24) experiencing housing instability and/or homelessness. Youth will be accessing shelter, transitional housing, and/or aftercare services from within the LSS youth services team. You will also provide skills training for youth as well as education and support to the youth services team of professionals and volunteers. You will be instrumental in improving the quality of life for individuals and families, completing diagnostic assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans to support their growth and well-being. You will maintain clinical oversight and ensure compliance with mental health statutes, all while contributing to a vibrant, collaborative environment that values continuous professional development.Qualifications and Requirements:
Master's degree and active licensure as an LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP required. Experience in diagnosing and treating a broad range of mental health disorders, using trauma-informed therapeutic approaches. Prefer candidates have knowledge and experience with the most current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal effectiveness. A passion for delivering high-quality, culturally competent care with a focus on social justice. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.Knowledge of:
