Job Description

Spanish Bilingual Youth Care Worker Manager Deployed Services, LLC Overview Description Deployed Services serves as a dedicated strategic partner to government and other clients. Summary:
The Youth Care Worker Manager (Spanish Bilingual) is responsible for the oversight and operational performance of all Youth Care Workers in the Operations Center of an on-site facility. This position is responsible for ensuring all Youth Care Workers, Youth Care Worker Leads and Youth Care Worker Supervisors are performing according to contract policies and are always providing line-of-sight supervision of minors, ages 13-17.
Essential Functions:
Provide direct supervision to youth care supervisors, youth care worker leads and youth care workers Ensure that staff always maintains line of-sight supervision of minors, ages 13-17 Assist during transition and movement of children from one activity to the next and one physical location to another depending on department assigned Ensure the safety and security and line of sight supervision of all children, ages 13-17 Complete all required documentation that pertains to the assigned department in a timely fashion, may include daily reports Document incident reports Email all action request forms and incident reports at the end of each shift Support leadership through formal or informal supervision and provide staff with ongoing feedback Communicate frequently with leadership Participate in ongoing meetings, conferences, and training programs as required Be familiar with and competent with the execution of all evacuation procedures Able to evacuate at short notice to accompany residents possibly to a different city for several days at a time Provide coverage for assigned staff when needed Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrate working knowledge of computers and common office equipment Must work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals Ability to adapt and respond to diverse situations with or without intensive supervision Excellent communication skills Ability to remain calm and composed under stress Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:
High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Bachelor's degree, preferred. A minimum of 1 years' experience in the child welfare industry working with children and/or adolescents in a social service setting Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds is a plus 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience required Bi-lingual (Spanish/English), required First Aid Certified, required.
Note:
Training will be provided to earn your CPR & First Aid certification if needed. Must possess a valid state driver's license Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
