Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated part-time Teen Program Staff to lead engaging activities for middle school and high school students. As a Teen Program Staff member, you will be responsible for planning and supervising dynamic programs that promote social skills, leadership, and personal growth while ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all participants. Responsibilities Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development for middle and high school students Manage classroom behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive environment Provide supervision during program sessions, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Collaborate with team members to develop innovative program ideas aligned with youth interests and developmental needs Assist with setting up activities, maintaining equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of the program space Respond promptly to any safety concerns or emergencies using first aid skills when necessary Support students with special needs or behavioral challenges by applying inclusive teaching strategies and understanding childhood development principles Qualifications Prior experience working with children or teenagers in settings such as camps, daycare, tutoring, or youth programs is preferred Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Background in special education or early childhood education is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of youth effectively Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism Possess a valid drivers license Willingness to drive a 15 passenger van is highly preferred Passion for working with children and teenagers, fostering their growth in a supportive environment Must pass drug screen test Clear background check Join us in making a meaningful impact on young lives!
