After School Counselor Boys & Girls Club of Hawthorne, NJ Hawthorne, NJ Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications 8th grade experience Personal service experience with children Education Child Development Psychology Full Job Description A dedicated employee that can assist in homework help, gym, arts, computers, and other activities. We would prefer someone with experience in working with children, taking care of children, or in daycare. We would also prefer those in the Education field or that are majoring in Education, Child Development, or Psychology. Job will start immediately and will continue through June 2026. There is also an opportunity to continue working in our Summer Camp Program. Must be able to work (4-5) days a week. Scheduled times are 2:30 pm to 6 pm. When schools are closed, we are open from 7:30 am to 6 pm. Hours will be available for staff members. Opportunities to accumulate more hours through our night time programs (Athletics, Social Recreation, Teen Programs, Bingo), as well as our Before School Program (7:15-8:30 AM). Seeking Counselors for our K-8th grade programs. Qualifications and Skills Experience working with children is preferred
