Job Description
Youth & Family Services in El Reno, Oklahoma is looking for a full-time Youth Care Specialist to work in our Emergency Children's Shelter that serves abused and homeless children ages 0-18. We are a fast-growing nonprofit organization who works to provide support for children, youth, and families in our community. You must be 21 years of age or older to work in our Emergency Children's Shelter which runs 24 hours a day/365 days a year. We are in need of a full-time employee who is willing to do shift work for the 4 pm to midnight and the midnight to 8 am shifts. Duties include but are not limited to providing care and supervision to children/youth in our shelter, providing nutritious meals and snacks for children/youth, interacting with children/youth and following a daily schedule, keeping logs and paperwork up-to-date, and periodically assisting in recreational trips for children/youth. •We offer holiday pay at double time for all employees who work during our allotted holidays. •We have great benefits and offer any employee working over 24 hours per week Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
