About Cascade Youth and Family Center (CYFC) Shelters Cascade Youth and Family Center (CYFC) operates multiple shelter programs in Central Oregon, including Grandma's House, The LOFT, and Canal House. These programs provide safe, supportive environments for youth experiencing crisis, homelessness, or housing instability. Across all sites, CYFC offers emergency and transitional shelter along with individualized support services. Programs focus on helping youth build life skills, continue their education, develop healthy relationships, and work toward stability and self-sufficiency. Some shelters provide specialized services, including support for pregnant and parenting youth, while all emphasize safety, structure, and positive youth development. Job Summary The Overnight Resident Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and supervision of residents across CYFC shelter programs. This is accomplished through direct monitoring, active and supportive interaction with youth, clear communication with team members, and adherence to established safety and security protocols. This position is an overnight shift. A $1.00 per hour shift differential applies to hours worked between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am, bringing the starting wage to $21.00 per hour.
