Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Youth Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide supportive and individualized care to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs. The Youth Counselor will teach and role model pro social behaviors to help assist youth in understanding their choices, guiding them to make the right decisions to obtain their desired consequence. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic professional to make a positive impact in the lives of our young students.Responsibilities:
- Participate in group sessions to students with diverse needs.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower youth to take an active role in their treatment and personal growth.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist in facilitating community-based activities.
