Youth Care Worker Job Summary:

New Life Adolescents is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Care Worker to join our team. The Youth Care Worker will be responsible for providing supervision, guidance, and support to young people in a residential or community-based setting. This role involves building positive relationships with youth, implementing structured activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and supervision to youth in a residential setting. Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans for each resident. Facilitate group activities, outings, and recreational events Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to meet the needs of residents. Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth in care Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all youth. Administer medication to youth according to prescribed schedules and document all medication distribution per regulatory guidelines. Ensure proper storage, handling, and record-keeping of all medications. Monitor and document resident behavior and progress. Respond effectively to crisis situations and follow established protocols. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred. High School Diploma required. Previous experience working with youth in a residential or community-based setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. PA Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI clearances Valid driver's license and clean driving record. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Must be 21 years or older
