Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Support Specialist to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. In this role, you will provide mentorship, behavioral support, and developmental guidance to youth from diverse backgrounds, including those from underserved communities and high-risk populations. Your energetic approach will foster positive growth, promote healthy behaviors, and support youth in reaching their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children, adolescents, families, and community partners to create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages youth development and resilience. Responsibilities Develop and implement youth-centered programs that promote positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) within educational or community settings Provide mentoring and case management services to youth, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with families, educators, social workers, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive support plans for youth Facilitate engaging youth development activities focused on adolescent growth, life skills, and cultural competence Support children with disabilities or special education needs by adapting activities and communication strategies accordingly Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, service plans, and incident reports using Microsoft Office tools Manage conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe environment for all participants Experience Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational, childcare, or youth program settings Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health principles and child welfare practices Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with a broader range of clients Strong writing skills for documentation, reports, and communication with families and team members Familiarity with social work practices, case management procedures, and high-risk population support strategies Ability to apply positive behavioral interventions in classroom or program environments Experience working with families to promote child welfare and developmental success Join us in empowering youth through compassionate support, innovative programs, and community collaboration.
