Job Description:
Tennessee State University invites applications for the position of Extension Agent 1 . This position is based at the Bradley County Extension office, in Cleveland, Tennessee . The successful candidate will be a member of TSU and Bradley County Extension. This position is l 00% 4-H Youth Development. This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting 4-H Youth Development educational programs as needed in the county. In addition, this position includes planning, executing, and evaluating programs, events, and activities through traditional 4-H clubs, project groups, educational workshops, camps, conferences, and special interest classes. Program delivery methods will involve volunteer recruitment, site and home visits, phone calls, workshops, newsletters, media, etc. The Extension Agent will develop and maintain good public relations with educational officials, collaborative agencies, program sponsors and elected and appointed officials. This position will plan, execute, and evaluate the 4-H programs based on County, State and Federal Programs and clientele needs. He/She will perform other related duties as required by County, Regional, and State Extension Administrators .
