Duties Build trusting relationships with youth through active mentoring, guidance, and positive reinforcement Plan and implement youth development activities aligned with program goals, including educational workshops, recreational events, and skill-building sessions Support behavioral health initiatives by applying Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies in classroom and activity settings Collaborate with families, schools, social workers, and community organizations to coordinate services and address individual needs Maintain accurate documentation of youth progress, incident reports, case notes, and program participation using Microsoft Office tools Assist with conflict management and de-escalation techniques to promote a safe environment for all participants Promote cultural competency by working effectively with culturally diverse communities and understanding adolescent development stages Requirements Experience working with children and adolescents in educational, childcare, or youth program settings Knowledge of special education needs and experience supporting individuals with disabilities or high-risk populations Familiarity with behavioral health practices, social work principles, child welfare systems, and case management procedures Strong communication skills for client engagement, report writing, and working with families from underserved communities Ability to manage conflicts constructively using positive behavioral supports (PBIS) in various settings Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively Experience teaching or delivering youth programs that foster adolescent development and life skills Join us in creating a vibrant environment where youth are empowered to succeed!
