This position is designed for passionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of youth, particularly in areas related to emotional support, education, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be involved in various activities that promote personal growth and resilience among youth, while also fostering a supportive environment. Duties Engage with youth through organized activities and programs that promote personal development and emotional well-being. Provide mentorship and guidance to young individuals, helping them navigate challenges and build confidence. Plan and execute events that encourage participation and foster a sense of community among youth. Communicate effectively with youth to educate them on important life skills, coping mechanisms, and available resources. Collaborate with other team members to develop programs that address the needs of youth in areas such as bereavement support and hospice care. Participate in fundraising efforts to support youth programs and initiatives. Utilize leadership skills to inspire and motivate youth participants during events and activities. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Qualifications Experience working with children or youth in a mentoring or educational capacity is preferred. Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable. Skills in event planning and execution are beneficial for organizing engaging activities. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including youth, parents, and community members. Experience or knowledge in hospice care or bereavement support is a plus. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire others. Fundraising experience is advantageous for supporting program initiatives. A compassionate approach towards mentoring young individuals facing various life challenges.
