PART-TIME YOUTH MENTOR BENEFITS
$15.00/Hourly Wage Pay raise available after first 90 days upon successful completion of probationary period and training. Monthly Phone Stipend Flexible Schedule
PART-TIME YOUTH MENTOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES
WILL TRAIN, no previous experience necessary. Monitor/supervise students Follow daily program schedule - keep students on task Co-facilitate group classes Co-facilitate activities Monitor and secure building/grounds Complete safety checks Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR YOUTH MENTOR
20 Years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation Pass a Criminal Background Check through the Utah Department of Public Safety's Bureau of Criminal Identification
REQUIREMENTS IF HIRED AS YOUTH MENTOR
Food Handler's Permit CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire (provided) Attend pre-service and annual trainings, as required Youth Mentors provide supervision, advocacy, intensive skills development instruction, and monitoring for students with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive struggles. • Looking for Youth Mentors during Swing, Grave, and Weekend shifts. •
