Responsibilities Build trusting relationships with youth by providing consistent encouragement and support. Develop and implement engaging youth development programs that promote social, emotional, and academic growth. Utilize positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) strategies to manage classroom behavior effectively. Collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to support the holistic needs of youth. Assist youth in setting goals, resolving conflicts, and developing problem-solving skills. Maintain accurate case management records, progress notes, and program documentation. Facilitate culturally responsive activities that respect and celebrate diversity within the community. Qualifications Experience working with children and adolescents in educational, childcare, or community settings. Knowledge of special education needs and experience supporting individuals with disabilities. Background in behavioral health or social work is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication purposes. Bilingual abilities are a strong plus to serve diverse communities effectively. Demonstrated experience working with underserved populations or high-risk youth. Strong communication skills for client engagement and family collaboration. Familiarity with adolescent development principles and positive behavioral management techniques such as PBIS. Ability to manage conflicts constructively while maintaining a supportive environment.
