Job Description

  • Job Title:
    Part-Time Youth Care Worker
  • Position Overview:
  • We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Youth Care Workers. In this role, you will provide support, care, and a safe environment for young individuals in our care. Your primary responsibilities include supervising the daily activities of youth, assisting in the development of life skills, and fostering a positive, nurturing atmosphere.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage with youth in various programs and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Mentor and support youth in developing positive behaviors, social skills, and personal development. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and interventions. Assist in the planning and facilitation of educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation of youth interactions, behaviors, and progress. Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when necessary. Uphold organizational policies and procedures to maintain a structured and positive environment. Foster an inclusive and respectful atmosphere that promotes diversity and understanding.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in social work, psychology, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience working with youth in a residential, educational, or recreational setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse youth populations. Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the program.
