Working 1-2 days per week (up to 14 hours), your expertise will help shape a supportive environment for English/Spanish-speaking students. In this role, you will provide counseling and support services to a caseload of students with IEPs who are bilingual, while also assisting the broader bilingual general education program and school community during your on-site days. As a valuable resource for students, staff, and families, you'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and utilize your skills to promote student success.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Illinois School Social Worker license Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish Experience working in school or healthcare social work settings Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance Ability to support diverse student needs and collaborate with educators and administration Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver culturally responsive direct and indirect services to bilingual students with IEPs Support the general education bilingual program and provide consultation to staff as needed Liaise with families, teachers, and outside agencies to ensure student access to resources Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings Contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate
