Position Qualifications:

LSW required Acute inpatient experience preferred In-depth knowledge of psychotherapy methods and available community resources Understanding of resiliency and recovery in mental illness and substance abuse, and treatment approaches and techniques. Key Responsibilities /

Job Accountabilities:

Ensures completion of individual, family, and/or group assessments. Familiar with outpatient setting. Provide short term crisis intervention, as needed. Assist patients and families with community resources for post-hospital needs. Monitor patient progress toward discharge, ensuring completion of requirements within expected length of stay. Assist patients and families with securing assistance services, as needed, e.g. Medicaid applications. Facilitates or assist with psychotherapy groups. Provide individual counseling. Maintain an efficient, organized work environment. Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications. Additional Skills /
