Solar Lead E2 Electrician (Solar Squad) The Company PurePoint Energy provides high-performance solar electric projects that make our clients' lives, our communities, and the planet a better place. We are looking for someone excited about making a positive impact on the world. The Candidate We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented E2 Licensed Electrician to join our Solar Squad. This isn't just a "pulling wire" job—you'll be the technical backbone of our service department. You will split your time between performing high-level electrical repairs, overseeing field technicians, and serving as a technical consultant for our operations team. You are the person who finds the loose neutral everyone else missed, and you are equally comfortable stepping into the office to help the Operations team figure out why a specific site plan won't work in reality.   • Reliable Key Responsibilities
Lead Field Operations:
Oversee and mentor a team of field technicians, providing on-site technical guidance and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed
    Electrical Service & Repair:
    Perform complex electrical work on solar installations, including inverter replacements, main lug connections, and panel upgrades
      Operations Support & Consultation:
      Serve as a subject matter expert for the Operations Department, which includes: ○ Answering technical electrical questions to assist with project planning ○ Conducting specialized site visits to assess complex jobs or troubleshoot structural/electrical hurdles ○ Providing expert input on equipment selection or system design feasibility
        Troubleshooting:
        Diagnose system underperformance, ground faults, and monitoring issues with surgical precision
          Quality Assurance:
          Conduct inspections to ensure all work complies with the NEC and local building codes Qualifications
            Licensing:
            Valid E2 Journeyman Electrician License (active and in good standing)
              Experience:
              Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on solar experience. You must be familiar with string inverters, microinverters, and battery storage (e.g., Tesla, Enphase)
                Leadership:
                Proven ability to manage a crew and explain complex concepts to both technicians and office staff
                  Communication:
                  Strong ability to provide "back-office" support, translating field realities into actionable advice for the Ops team
                  Salary & Benefits Compensation:
                  $100k
                  • $120k, dependent on experience and qualifications, with the option for overtime.
