Job Description
Overview Shift:
7a-330p M-F with call every 4th Weekend Under general supervision performs professional duties in the application of Ultrasonography services. Responsibilities Demonstrates competency in preparing patients for procedures Correctly performs all prescribed Ultrasound procedures in an efficient manner Works independently and critiques exams Problem Solving skills Competent in the storage and transferring of images Responsible for regular rotation of on-call responsibilities. Accountability Customer/patient focused Multicultural sensitivityTeamwork Qualifications Education:
Graduate of JRCERT approved school for Radiologic Technology with extensive training and experience in Ultrasound to prove competent or a graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasonography.License/Certifications:
RDMS or ARRT certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must sit for RDMS or ARRT within 24 months of successfully passing Physics, Abdomen andOB/GYN CPR
