Job Description
Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc., a leader in American firearms manufacturing, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven S&OP Analyst to support and augment the company's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role will directly support the S&OP Manager, with responsibilities spanning detailed demand/supply data management, KPI reporting, cross-functional coordination, and facilitation of elements of the S&OP cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage SKU-level demand and supply data within Oracle ERP and Excel tools. Develop KPI reports (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, etc.). Support BI implementation (PowerBI in the future). Prepare inputs for monthly S&OP cycle and coordinate across factories. Funnel insights through the S&OP Manager and support executive reports. Moderate selected meetings and ensure timely alignment across teams. Serve as backup presenter for S&OP meetings when required. Recommend improvements to forecasting, reporting, and data integrity. Consistent demonstration of Ruger's expected behaviors. All other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or S&OP roles.Preferred Skills:
Strong Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills. BI experience (PowerBI preferred). Forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning knowledge. Certifications (APICSCPIM/CSCP
) preferred but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Comfortable with SKU-level detail and large datasets. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.Why Join Us:
