Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your leadership skills and culinary expertise will help maintain our standards of excellence, foster teamwork, and uphold food safety protocols. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and standards Assist in supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth shift operations Manage food production processes, including portion control, food handling, and inventory management to minimize waste and optimize resources Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards at all times Support menu planning efforts by contributing creative ideas and ensuring dishes meet customer expectations Coordinate with the dietary department for special dietary needs or restrictions, ensuring proper food handling and preparation Lead by example during shift management, maintaining a positive work environment and fostering teamwork among kitchen staff Requirements Proven culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining setting, with demonstrated expertise in food preparation and kitchen management Supervising experience in a culinary environment, including team management and shift oversight Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and inventory control procedures Experience with banquet service, catering, or large-scale food production is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff and other departments Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with food industry trends, menu planning, and hospitality best practices Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences!
