Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Case Coordinator for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. Positions are available for high school, elementary, and middle school levels, each emphasizing hands-on collaboration in a dynamic educational environment. The assignment runs from August 28, 2026, to June 18, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek and exclusively in-person responsibilities. Ideal candidates are passionate educators ready to make an immediate impact. Your role will focus on supporting and empowering students with diverse learning needs, ensuring compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs), and working alongside classroom educators in a collaborative dyad model.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current state licensure and credentials required for Special Education teaching Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Coordinator Strong understanding of in-person instructional strategies and compliance with IEP processes Experience at the elementary, middle, or high school level (role assignments based on background) Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to state and federal guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
