Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (state-specific licensure required) Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to differentiate instruction tailored to individual student strengths and challenges Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with educational standards and regulations Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to maximize student growth and inclusion Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and compliance documentation Provide guidance, encouragement, and academic support to help students achieve their goals
