Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A special education teaching opportunity is available in Granite Falls, WA, supporting middle school students with individualized learning needs. This contract position requires an onsite presence and offers part-time hours throughout the school week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 15 middle school students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state guidelines. Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and administrators to promote student success. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain compliance with school and district policies related to special education.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Special Education teaching license or certification. Experience working with middle school-aged students within a special education setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team. Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Schedule:
