Send job Job Details Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your passion for guiding students with diverse learning needs to an exciting full-time contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher just outside Hanover, NH. This role will have you working with a supportive school team from August 2026 through June 2027, making a meaningful impact on middle school students. Set within a dynamic educational environment, you'll enjoy the consistency of a Monday through Friday schedule, working between 32 and 37.5 hours each week.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification, or ability to obtain one before start date Experience supporting middle school-aged students with IEPs Strong understanding of best practices in inclusive education and differentiated instruction Excellent communication and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for fostering growth, independence, and self-advocacy in students with disabilities Ability to adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs
Your Responsibilities:
Manage a middle school caseload, delivering specialized instruction to meet individual learning goals Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in coordination with faculty and families Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Collect and report on student progress, maintaining accurate documentation Collaborate with colleagues, families, and outside agencies to support student success Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required This contract position invites you to create lasting change in students' lives throughout the 2026-27 academic year.
