Special Ed Teacher - Newport, Oregon

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Each educator is matched with one class, ensuring a focused and manageable caseload. Openings are available in several school settings, including elementary, middle, and high school environments. Depending on assignment, you may be working with students in grades K-2 at Yaquina View Elementary with a small group (fewer than 20, no instructional assistant), or at other sites such as Siletz Valley Charter School and Waldport Middle/High School, supported by instructional assistants.

What We're Looking For:

Valid Oregon Special Education Teaching License (OR SPED License) required Experience working with students in special education settings preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Adaptability to work independently or collaboratively Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:
