Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (Illinois or eligibility for Illinois licensure) Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students who have learning, physical, emotional, or intellectual disabilities Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Ability to apply differentiated instruction and tailor lessons to individual student capabilities and goals Excellent communication with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to maintaining a safe, encouraging, and structured classroom environment
