Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. In this full-time contract role, you'll provide essential support to students with unique learning needs, ensuring they receive a quality education in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification for grades 9-12 (or eligibility for certification) Previous experience working with high school students in a resource or special education setting Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Knowledge of various learning disabilities and adaptive teaching strategies Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to manage caseloads and handle diverse student needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on students' IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reviews Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment that values inclusion and diversity Track academic and behavioral data to inform instructional decisions Advocate for student needs and partner with administration in building supportsBenefits and Perks:
