This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of education, policy, and advocacy—while making a direct impact on schools, students, and communities. 🔍 Ideal Candidate Profile J.D. from an accredited law school Active Pennsylvania Bar license (required) 3-5 years of experience in education or public sector law Minimum 3+ years of direct Special Education law experience (IDEA, Section 504) Familiarity with Sunshine Act and Right to Know Law strongly preferred Exceptional writing, advocacy, and analytical skills Collaborative team player with a proactive, client-focused mindset ⚖️ You'll Counsel and Represent School Districts on: Special Education Law (IDEA, Section 504 compliance, IEPs, FAPE, and due process) Student Rights, Policies & Discipline School Employment & Labor Law Construction & Facility Planning Financial Solutions for Public Districts Collective Bargaining Negotiations Governance for School Boards & Administrators Open Records & Meetings Compliance (Sunshine Act & Right to Know Law)
