B Plan Job Summary:

As the Math Teacher at Paradigm Therapeutic Day School, you will be responsible for teaching and ensuring that our students learn the Math skills required by the NJ Core Curriculum in conjunction with their IEP.

Job Responsibilities:

Create purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that reflect the individual learning styles of his/her/their students Create a safe classroom environment conducive to learning by employing a variety of appropriate teaching strategies Encourage student enthusiasm for the learning process and the development of good study habits Provide progress reports, progress notes, and report cards as required Plan and prescribe purpose assignments for teacher assistants Evaluate the accomplishments of students on a regular basis using multiple assessment methods and in accordance with the NJ Core Curriculum Assist in the ongoing curriculum revision process, including the revision of written courses of study

Qualification:

New Jersey Certification as a Special Education Teacher of Students of Disabilities, Highly Qualified in Mary or Teacher of the Handicapped At least three (3) years of experience as a Math/Special Education Teacher.
