Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Adapt general education lessons and materials to meet the varying needs of students. Provide specialized instruction in small group and one-on-one settings. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students. Assess student progress regularly and revise teaching plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and instructional strategies. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid state certification in Special Education. Experience working with middle and high school students with diverse learning needs. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community members. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the academic and social development of students with special needs.
