About the Role The Special Education Teacher for the MAPS Program at White Mountain Middle School will design and deliver specially tailored instruction for students with diverse needs, ensuring access to rigorous, supportive, and meaningful learning experiences. This educator will serve as a key member of the Student Services Team, supporting students through individualized instruction and collaboration with families and staff. This role includes planning and delivering instruction, monitoring student progress, maintaining all compliance records, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The teacher will participate in multidisciplinary teams, lead IEP meetings, consult with general education staff, support educational assistants, and provide family outreach. Additionally, the teacher will implement strategies aligned with best practices in special education while promoting student engagement, safety, and academic growth. The position demands a commitment to professional collaboration and leadership. It also requires familiarity with state and federal laws regarding special education and the ability to use appropriate methodologies and technology to support students in their learning. Salary Range:

$46,548•$90,846 plus master's stipend of $2,327 (depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits).
