Job Description
Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Are you a Special Education Teacher looking for a great new opportunity in a supportive school setting? A school district is seeking qualified educators to support middle and high school students in resource and adaptive curriculum classrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with mild to moderate learning disabilities, ADHD, cognitive disabilities, or high-functioning autism. - Provide instruction in resource or adaptive curriculum settings
- Develop and manage IEPs
- Lead IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Support approximately 25 students per caseload Work Hours
- 35 hours per week guaranteed
- Half days on Fridays
- Potential for additional hours Experience
- Experience working with middle or high school students preferred
- Background in special education settings Education
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field Other Qualifications
