Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by offering essential speech services within a supportive educational setting. Several full-time contract opportunities are currently open for dedicated professionals who hold an active
NCDPI SLP
license and bring a passion for student success. These roles serve a diverse community of learners at both elementary and middle school levels, making each day rewarding.
Key Qualifications:
Active North Carolina DPI Speech-Language Pathology license (must provide documentation) Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Comprehensive experience providing school-based speech services, including therapy, evaluations, and IEP participation Proficiency using ECATS for documentation and case management Strong collaboration and communication skills in multidisciplinary environments Prior experience in special education settings, especially with EC PreK populations, is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person speech-language therapy to students at elementary and middle schools Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring thorough documentation and student advocacy Conduct thorough evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments Create detailed present level of performance reports and develop annual goals tailored to each student's needs Utilize ECATS for data tracking, compliance, and reporting requirements Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student outcomes Benefits include a consistent full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) throughout the academic year, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative school environment.
