Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher delivering telehealth services and in-person support in Pardeeville, WI. This opportunity involves two openings for the new school year—one middle school resource/co-teaching role and one early childhood special education role.
Responsibilities include:
Providing instruction to a 6th and 7th grade resource/co-teaching classroom with 11 students experiencing learning disabilities (LD) and other health impairments (OHI) Teaching reading, math, and executive functioning skills Managing an early childhood classroom serving 12 students from ages 3 years to 1st grade, including children with autism, vision impairments, and higher needs Conducting some homebound instruction for younger students Collaborating with related service providers and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs) Qualifications and experience: Valid Wisconsin multi cross-categorical special education license or Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) license preferred Experience working with students with a range of disabilities including LD, OHI, autism, and vision impairments Ability to plan and differentiate instruction for diverse learners Familiarity with telehealth service delivery is a plus
Work Schedule:
Start date: August 21st Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational growth and development through comprehensive special education support.
