Key Qualifications:
Current and valid licensure in Special Education Experience or certification as an Intervention Specialist Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of students Strong collaboration skills for working alongside general education teachers, support staff, and administration Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage with families and team members Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring Problem-solving mindset and commitment to student success Willingness to work with varied age groups and flexible caseloads
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct instruction, interventions, and support according to IEPs Adapt curriculum and instructional techniques to address students' unique learning needs Conduct assessments and regularly monitor progress Collaborate on the creation and adjustment of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Partner with families and interdisciplinary teams to foster student growth Uphold all compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements Support a positive, accommodating classroom environment for learners of all abilities As a full-time Intervention Specialist, your 40-hour workweeks will run from August 17, 2026, to May 27, 2027.
