To provide high-quality specialized instruction and case management services to eligible studentsWORKS WITH
Students, Parents, Teachers, Support Staff, Administration, and Community PartnersCOMPENSATION RANGE
As per the collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position is from $48,082 - $89,758.QUALIFICATIONS
1. Licensure in the State of Vermont as a Special Educator, or eligibility for such. Candidates who hold Vermont licensure in Early-Childhood Special Education as well as K-8 special education shall be given preference.2. Ability to provide high-quality specialized instruction and responsive case management services to eligible students. 3, Ability to work effectively with special education teams with multiple stakeholders.4. Ability to work collaboratively with others in order to meet a wide variety of student needs.5. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.6. Must be able to pass all background and fingerprint requirements needed to work with preschool and school-age students.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide high-quality specialized instruction to eligible students across all educational and functional areas of performance.2. Provide responsive case management services including communication and collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. 3. Maintain special education paperwork compliance as mandated by the State of Vermont Special Education Regulations and MRUUSD expectations.4. Develop and implement IEPs to meet the needs of students.5. Participate in ongoing professional development as required by the MRUUSD and State of Vermont licensure rules.6. Administer a variety of curriculum-based and standardized assessments and participate in the completion of the Evaluation Plan and Report process.7. Participate in a variety of special education meetings on behalf of students.8. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Administration.Similar remote jobs
