Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference every day by supporting students' growth and communication skills through dedicated speech and language services on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress Current state SLP licensure or eligibility Strong ability to work with diverse student populations Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy progress, and compliance with state/federal regulations Provide both direct and consultative therapeutic services Foster an encouraging learning atmosphere that supports student achievement Enjoy the flexibility and rewards of a contract role, while knowing that your performance opens the door for continued opportunities in this district.
