Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role shaping communication skills for learners age 2 to 22 in a supportive school-based environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech Language Pathologist energized by serving diverse student populations—including those with moderate to severe disabilities. You'll contribute your expertise onsite, working 35 hours per week during the 2026-2027 school year. As an essential member of the team, you'll: Plan and deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy interventions, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, and social language support Address critical areas such as articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and challenges in receptive and expressive language development Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide thorough, insightful reports summarizing student progress and needs Develop targeted goals in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation Foster strong, collaborative relationships with parents, teachers, and support staff, approaching each student's development with empathy and a flexible mindset For this position, candidates should: Hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teacher's license from the Department of Education (IDOE) Ideally have 1-2 years' experience in a school-based SLP role Possess outstanding communication abilities and a cooperative, team-driven approach Demonstrate adaptability and effective problem-solving skills In return, you'll enjoy a highly competitive weekly pay structure based on your experience, plus access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
