Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your speech-language pathology expertise to an elementary setting, supporting students' communication growth and academic success for the 2026-2027 school year. Work with a vibrant team dedicated to fostering student progress, delivering services to a diverse caseload of approximately 50-60 students, including some pre-kindergarten learners. This on-site, contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a tangible difference in the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Holds current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience in school-based settings, preferably at the elementary or pre-K level Skilled in Medicaid billing and documentation practices Proficient in crafting, implementing, and participating in IEP meetings Comfortable providing SLP services both one-on-one and in group formats Strong communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to on-site work for the contracted durationKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver therapy sessions to students requiring support, both 1:1 and in groups Actively participate in IEP meetings; write, monitor, and update plans as needed Maintain accurate Medicaid billing and necessary records Collaborate with teaching staff, student services, and families to ensure student progress Adapt therapy techniques to meet a variety of learning needs If you are a dedicated speech-language pathologist ready for an impactful role rooted in student support and professional growth, this is your opportunity.
