Speech Language Pathologist Join Our Team at Award Care at Big Bend We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Award Care at Big Bend in Perry, FL . As a Speech Language Pathologist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. About the Role As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents with communication and swallowing disorders. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their communication and cognitive goals. Your expertise will also be invaluable in providing education and support to residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing disorders. From $44 an hour - Full-time Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of residents' communication and swallowing abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders Provide speech therapy services to residents, including one-on-one sessions and group therapy Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support Educate and support residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing disorders Document all patient interactions and treatment plans according to organization standards Requirements Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Current licensure in the state of Florida Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting Why Join Our Team?
