Speech & Language Pathologist, PrincipalPOSITION PURPOSE
To assist the speech and language pathologist to achieve teaching objectivesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Assists the SLP with scheduling case conferences and therapy time when needed. Assists the SLP in devising materials based on meeting student needs as indicated in Individualized Education Plans. Conducts hearing screenings as required by state statute. Assist the SLP with copying and laminating student materials. Uphold the mission of WCSC. Alerts the SLP to any problems pertinent to job functions. Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers. Record keeping as assigned by SLP. Other duties as assigned by building administrator.QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to plan and organize. Skills in human relations. Ability to communicate effectively. Other qualifications as deemed desirable by the School Board.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
